The MCRC played their season opener against Colby on Saturday.  It was a hard-fought battle, with the Panthers holding a one point lead until the final moments of the match.  The final score: 31-27   “While I’m disappointed in the result today, ” said Coach Wiebe, “I could not be more proud of our group.  Our effort today was outstanding.  I don’t typically highlight individual efforts, but Shaan Kanani was excellent today in scoring 17 of our team’s 27 points.  We hope to learn from this setback and now turn our attention to preparation for Babson at home this Saturday.”
